Cycling bliss

Saw a turn off the A30 not too much further that brought me through a place called Temple. It really was worth going the extra mile for country roads cause there was some beautiful cycling from Temple on. There was a few patches of ice that I had to walk for but apart from that it was proper cycling. Just long flat peaceful roads.

Didn’t have to stop at any lights, had the road to myself not a jacker in sight. This part of the journey really was pure bliss. And then I got to Blisland. This was it; this is what I like cycling for. It reminded me of some of the places in France and Belgium, just real sleepy little villages untouched by jerks like me.

Sat on my favourite bench in the park, had some food and was just loving being there. This is what you’re missing if you’re not going on random cycles. If it was up to me I’d make people notice it more.

 Go on Edgar you ledge

Didn’t have long enough there though cause was starting to get a little cold. Next went through St Mabyn, again lovely, and then joined the A39 for a bit coming towards Wadebridge. Got right off it and opted for the scenic route through the town.
