Shit man, why you keep switchin’ from miles to kilometres?

Launceston to Treyarnon 40 miles
Because my speedometer was giving me km but my phone was giving me miles. I like reading my speed and distance in km cause it makes me feel like I’m going faster and further quicker. I also like to see my remaining distance as a smaller number which my phone shows me in miles.
Leaving this time was like walking into an exam, it was well tense. Hit the road around half 11 wondering would I see another 27. Can't go wrong with a Casino.

Left the pad and I’m coasting, no need for suntan lotion, hit the two wheel motion. Had a nice start to the day beginning on a downhill followed by plenty of flats and I was flying along. It’s ironic, although my chest pains were chronic, that re-heated fry-up was the tonic. But it didn’t take long to hit the hills and I’m walking again. At least it gives you time to stop and smell the icicles.

The map was showing me a different route today to the one I looked at last night and before I knew it I was heading for the A30 again. Shit anyway, now that I was well out of London I just wanted to stick to the country roads but there was no avoiding it this time. Just before getting there I took another wrong turn. The only thing worse than taking a wrong turn is taking one that leads you up a massive hill

Note: hills may appear smaller than they actually are. Use your imagination.
